Design Science Learning Environment
Design Science Learning Environment is a learning environment that is intentionally planned and created to support science teaching and learning. It includes the physical space, learning materials, teaching strategies, and activities that help students explore scientific concepts through observation, investigation, and experimentation. Examples of designed science learning environments include science laboratories, school gardens, eco-ponds, science corners, greenhouses, and outdoor learning spaces. These environments provide students with opportunities to engage in hands-on learning, develop critical thinking skills, and connect scientific knowledge with real-life experiences. A well-designed science learning environment is safe, supportive, and engaging, encouraging students to be curious, collaborative, and active participants in scientific inquiry.
